Why should I reserve a bike in advance?
Some rental items have limited quantities and “out of stocks” do happen. We value the riding experience and strive to help you have a great ride. Reservations ensure a bike is held for you and helps us better serve you.

What are your hours?
Please contact us by phone for availability and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes, a $20 deposit is collected via credit card over the phone at the time of your reservation.​
​
Is there an age requirement to ride the bike?
You have to be 18 years or older to book and ride our bikes. Exceptions are made for child seat/trailer add ons. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and must be secured appropriately into the child harnesses.

Can I change a reservation?
Yes, in most cases your reservation can be revised to change dates or equipment without penalty unless within 7 days of your rental dates. Contact the shop or BlueWaterEBikeRental@gmail.com to make updates to existing reservations.

What’s your cancellation policy?
Please contact us at BlueWaterEBikeRental@gmail.com regarding cancellations. Cancellation requests greater than 7 days from reservation will be considered for a full refund. Cancellation requests within 7 days will be reviewed for reschedule.

Do I have to sign a Liability Release?
Yes, E-Bike cycling can be a dangerous activity with speeds up to 20mph and we want you to clearly understand these risks and what responsibility each involved party has regarding your rental. Online reservations through Blue Water E-Bike Rental, requires the user to agree to terms and conditions, which includes a Liability Release, Waiver and Indemnification.

What happens if I get a flat tire?
We strongly recommend that you always carry a cell phone when you ride as well as the phone number of the rental location. Should you have a mechanical problem, stop riding and move to a safe location before using your phone. Contact the rental location for further instructions.

Can someone else ride the bike I rent?
Bikes are only to be ridden by the individual specified during the rental checkout process and as outlined in the Waiver, Release & Indemnification.

Do you offer rental insurance?
No. The renter is fully responsible for any damages during the rental.
​
What if the bike is stolen or damaged?
The renter is held responsible for rental bikes and equipment from the time it is released to the renter’s custody until the time it is checked back in. To avoid additional fees, make sure to always care for and protect your rented equipment as if it were your own. It should be returned in essentially the same condition as it left the shop.

Is there information on the local area including route maps or points of interest?
Yes, after you reserve online and receive your email confirmation, we will direct you to bridge to bay trail for options! Plus, ask the shop when you pick up your bike – most employees are very knowledgeable about the local area and are the best source for up-to-date riding conditions.

How do you protect my privacy / information?
We value your privacy as much as we value your business. Under no circumstance do we provide unnecessary access to your personal or transaction information (except as required by law). All credit card transactions are conducted via a secure encrypted connection and we do not store your credit card information.

Do you have any add ons available while renting?
Yes we offer the Wag Along Pet Trailer for you and your furry friends to enjoy the views together! We also have child friendly carrier add ons. Please contact us for availability.

What is included in the E-Bike rental?
The rental includes your bike of booking, a helmet, and a lock.
​
Do you have other accessories to add with the rental?
We have multiple add on options that appear while you're booking. We have coolers, saddle bags, phone holders, front and rear racks, and more.

Do you have any package options?
Stay tuned for "date day" packages coming soon! These will set you up with an all inclusive date plan ideal for you and your significant other, your friends, and your kids! With different options such as a romantic picnic watching freighters to sand toys on the beach with your kids!

Are you delivery based or pick up based?

Do you rent daily, hourly, or weekly?
We offer 2 hour, 4 hours, and 8 hours rentals. We do not offer weekly rentals as of right now.
